One Future Race #A2Z Challenge

O

Well, for today’s letter which is the “O” letter, I admit that I failed to find an interesting future technology that can really change our future. Actually, there was the “Optical Computing” topic which is about replacing electrons in digital circuits with photons which are way faster than traditional electrons. But, I didn’t really find this a “World Changing” thing. However, I found another interesting topic that can really change our world. Although it is not technology related but it is important to discuss.

One Future Human Race

Here is the question: “Will we ever combine into one single human race at some point in the future?”

The number of racial admixtures especially through marriage is increasing very much especially in the states. Although other opinions believe that these mixtures are actually pushing us farther away from each other racially, but still the fact that (I tend to believe) mixed parents give birth to mixed children which can lead to a mixed race.

As a matter of fact, Six generations of inbreeding spanning the years 1800 to 1960 caused an isolated population of humans living in the hills of Kentucky to become blue-skinned.

So, what’s you opinion? You have two questions to think about. First, are we going to a future of one race or diverse races? The second one is “If it is valid that we will end up some day with one race only, how will this affect our world?” Is is going to be good for us? Bad? Destroys cultures or enriches them? Go ahead and think about it.
